Jacob's Well Basic School Reopens

On January 5, 2026, the doors of Jacob's Well Basic School, located in Salt Marsh Trelawny, swung open right on schedule!

After eight long weeks of silence following Hurricane Melissa, the sounds of laughter and learning have finally returned. Seeing those students walk through the doors on Monday morning was a moment of pure triumph—and it only happened because you stepped up when it mattered most.

Because of your incredible generosity through the Operation TALLAWAH campaign, our 2 to 6-year-olds have returned to a safe, nurturing learning space. This is about more than just a building; it's about providing a lifeline for their mothers. With the school back in session, these hardworking women can return to work to support their families, knowing their children are in a secure and loving environment.
